Walk&Talk
A city expedition for Portuguese learners. Walk, observe, talk, write — then celebrate with a drink.
About this class
First edition of our all-levels series. A city expedition with pen, notebook and a drink to finish.
Walking, talking, learning, yapping!! In today's episode of freaks in the wild, we are going to have a city expedition, in which all freaks & lovers (all levels welcome) meet and go for a walk, each holding their own, unique pen and notebook, and together we will make note of everything (that is important enough) we see. It's an immersive vocabulary-focused class. At the end of the walk, we will have a little activity/discussion/assembly to wrap up and make sure we will remember all these new words! And then… a drink, to celebrate. Life, community, language, weirdness, and being offline for a little bit. We are meeting at Café Língua d'Água.
About this series
Walk&Talk is a new kind of PFFL class.
Each edition takes a different slice of the city and turns it into a language lesson. This first one is about Urban Life — the people, signs, textures and small stories you usually walk past without noticing. Come back for future editions; each one will have a new theme, a new route, and a new mood.
